Master in Fotografía Artística Y Documental

At Rey Juan Carlos University, tuition fees are 1,351 EUR per year.

Artistic and documentary photography occupies a space between personal visual expression and the committed observation of the world. Both practices demand technical mastery of the photographic image alongside a developed sense of composition, light, and narrative — though they differ in purpose and context of reception. At the master level, this field covers photographic theory and history, project development, studio and location work, image editing, and preparation of portfolios for exhibition or publication. Graduates work as photographers, visual artists, photojournalists, picture editors, and educators in a wide range of cultural and media environments. Fotografía Artística Y Documental is a one-year master program offered in Spanish at Rey Juan Carlos University, with annual tuition of 1,350.60 EUR. The program is based at the Madrid campus.
