The degree spans three years, each year building on the previous one. In Year 1 you develop fundamental drawing, concept design and 3D modelling skills; Year 2 deepens your knowledge of industry pipelines, game engine use and character design; Year 3 culminates in a professional portfolio and an honours project that integrates everything you have learned.

The course focuses on visual art for games, covering everything from initial concept sketches to the creation of fully realised 2D and 3D assets. You will study both traditional techniques and digital workflows, learning to produce characters, props, environments and complete worlds that meet real industry standards.

You work in a dedicated studio on industry briefs.
