Students of the UE's Game Design B.A. programme will tackle the intellectual challenge of crafting new game experiences; the Faculty of Design ensures that students start their journey with the module 'Identifizierung und Anwendung formaler Gestaltungsprinzipien der digitalen Unterhaltung'. The programme's interdisciplinary approach includes game design, game art, and game programming, equipping students with skills in Android programming with Java and familiarising them with industry-relevant tools. The curriculum is supported by partnerships with top industry players like InnoGames and the Game Association, and Berlin's vibrant gaming scene, hosting events like the Gamesweek Berlin, provides ample opportunities for students to engage with the industry. Prof. Csongor Baranyai, Program Director of Game Design, leads the faculty and brings extensive industry experience to the programme.
