General Medicine at Palacky University's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry is a six-year English-taught programme leading to the MUDr. degree, one of the longest-running such programmes in Czechia. The curriculum mirrors that followed by Czech medical students and conforms to EU standards, and the programme also carries accreditation recognised in the USA, Canada and Malaysia. The first four semesters focus on theoretical subjects such as anatomy and physiology, moving through preclinical subjects into clinical training, and concluding with final state examinations across multiple medical specialties. Applicants sit a multiple-choice entrance exam followed by a short English-language interview.
