Programme Overview

General Medicine at the University of Pécs Medical School is a six-year, English-taught One-tier Master programme (the Hungarian equivalent of an MD) providing complete theoretical and practical training in medicine. The diploma issued by the Medical School is accepted across the European Union and in several other countries, including Norway, the USA, Canada and Israel.

Structure

• Years 1-3: pre-clinical basic sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology)
• Years 4-6: clinical rotations across the University of Pécs Clinical Centre, one of Hungary's largest healthcare providers
• Final year: supervised clinical practice and a State Board Examination
