The aim of the Geography MSc programme is to provide advanced training in Geography. The Environmental Geography specialisation prepares students for research and analysis tasks related to environment and nature protection, environmental change and climate issues. The Geoinformatics specialisation provides a greater depth in the use of geospatial and remote sensing tools, and introduces students to the modelling of both natural and social processes. The Geography MSc programme prepares students to be able to solve problems, pursue research in these fields, communicate these results to other experts, and continue their studies at the PhD level. The program is recommended to applicants who have at least a BSc degree in Geography or related fields, e.g. Earth sciences and Environmental sciences.
