About the Program

Geological Engineering studies the earth's materials and processes as they relate to engineering projects, covering mineralogy, structural geology, hydrogeology, and engineering geology. Students learn to assess ground conditions for construction, mining, and water resource projects, working through fieldwork and laboratory analysis of rock and soil samples alongside coursework in geotechnical principles.
