Master in Germanistik Master

From early German texts to contemporary literature and media, the Germanistik Master's program in Bamberg covers a wide range of topics and offers a unique opportunity to explore the development of the German language and literature. Students can set their own focus areas in the three major fields of modern German literature, older German literature, and German linguistics. The program includes practical aspects such as literature mediation, language teaching, and German as a foreign language. Students can also expand their expertise through an additional 20 ECTS credits in other subjects or through the Bamberger Poetikprofessur, which invites renowned authors to engage in direct dialogue with students.
