Graduate Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering

At University of Wollongong, applications are due 31 December 2025.

Graduates of this Graduate Certificate move into roles such as Asset Support Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Power Engineer, Network Performance Engineer or Lead Power Systems Engineer, often with utilities and consulting firms.

The qualification is delivered entirely online on a part-time basis and consists of four subjects (24 credit points). Topics include overhead and underground line design, power quality, system stability, electrical safety, renewable generation, high-voltage engineering, market structures and substation design.

It is aimed at those who hold a recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Honours Class 2, Division II) or an engineering diploma together with five to ten years of professional experience in electrical power engineering and who wish to broaden their technical expertise while remaining in full-time employment.
