The program is grounded in design theory and user-centred methodology. Students learn to apply design thinking to solve visual communication problems. They develop skills in industry-standard software, typography, colour theory, and digital and print production. Graduates create effective design solutions for marketing, branding, and user experience.

Graduates work as graphic designers, web designers, social media coordinators, marketing coordinators, and photographers in advertising, publishing, and corporate communications.

Grade 12 or equivalent. English language requirement. Alternative admission available through ACCUPLACER© with minimum scores: 250 Arithmetic, 250 Reading, 245 Writing. Post-secondary credits may also be accepted.
