Bachelor in Graphic Design Ba Degree

Tuition fees are 16,750 GBP per year.

At the heart of the Graphic Design BA programme is a commitment to turning creative curiosity into a professional identity. Whether you are aiming for a career in bustling design agencies, freelance consultancy, or in-house studio work, the curriculum is structured to build your portfolio through real-world application. You will be taught by practising designers who maintain active industry links, ensuring that the theoretical concepts of semiotics and visual communication are always tested against the practical demands of the modern creative marketplace.

Block Teaching: A Focused Learning Environment

The programme distinguishes itself through an innovative block teaching approach. Rather than juggling multiple subjects simultaneously, you will immerse yourself in one module at a time. This singular focus allows for deep dives into design principles and regular, manageable assessments, fostering a supportive community where you work closely with the same peers and tutors throughout each block. This structure provides the space to balance your academic rigour with university life, sports, and societies.

Beyond technical proficiency, you will learn to navigate the complexities of the client-designer relationship, refining your research, entrepreneurial, and analytical skills. By your final year, you will be working on live briefs and developing self-promotional materials, ensuring that you graduate not just with a degree, but with a refined, professional practice ready for the industry.
