Haul Truck Operator

This 4-week in-person certificate program delivers classroom instruction, computer-based learning, and simulator training. Students learn to operate haul trucks safely in mining and heavy construction environments. The program focuses on equipment inspection, industrial safety, and site procedures. It prepares students for entry-level roles in industrial operations.

4 weeks, in-person, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter roles such as Haul Truck Operator, Mine Operations Labourer, or Industrial Equipment Operator.

Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a high school diploma, GED, CAEC, or 10 years of work experience. Must have a valid unrestricted Class 5 driver’s licence and a Driver’s Abstract with no suspensions and no more than two violations in the past 3 years. Must pass a Physical Demands Assessment. English language proficiency required: CAEL 60, CLBA 70, Duolingo 95, IELTS 5.5, MELAB 60, PTE 50, or TOEFL iBT 71 with no section below 17.
