This micro-credential develops advanced skills in operating high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems. It covers sample preparation, analysis execution, result interpretation, and troubleshooting in real lab environments. The focus is on accurate chemical identification and measurement used in pharmaceuticals, environmental testing, manufacturing, and research.

The program is for those with prior post-secondary chemistry or the Applied Analytical Laboratory Skills micro-credential. It supports career advancement in industries that depend on precise analytical methods. Those with relevant work experience can apply for prior learning assessment.

Three micro-courses total 45 hours of hands-on instruction. The format is part-time and in-person. This credential extends previous lab training and prepares individuals to work independently with HPLC equipment.
