Courses cover topics such as Indigenous history, ancient Greece and Rome, medieval Europe, women's and gender history in Canada, and the witch-hunts in Europe. You examine archives, including those at the Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre, which is located on the former site of a residential school. This setting supports deep engagement with Canadian history and reconciliation.

The programme offers hands-on learning, small class sizes, and opportunities to participate in events like the Hayes-Jenkinson Memorial Lecture Series. Students can join the History Society and take part in trips to Montreal and Chicago. Admission is open to applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent.
