About Hospice Palliative Care

Tuition is International students pursuing the Gerontology and Hospice Palliative Care certificates are required to take both programs and complete them within one academic year..

Students learn to provide care for people with life-threatening illnesses through clinical and classroom instruction. They address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs in palliative and end-of-life settings. Training includes hands-on practice in care delivery and support for families. The programme prepares students to work in hospice, palliative care units, and community health environments.

One academic year; includes Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms; on-campus delivery; no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter roles as palliative care specialists or support staff in hospice, hospital, or community care settings.

Applicants must hold a post-diploma qualification; international students must complete both the Gerontology and Hospice Palliative Care certificates within one academic year; English language proficiency required.

On-campus, full-time, one academic year.
