Illustration and Comics

The Illustration and Comics program at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Liège is a non-degree program for those passionate about storytelling through images, lasting one year and taught in English.

Students learn drawing techniques, character design, and narrative development, with hands-on projects that help apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts, encouraging creativity and critical thinking.

Graduates can become comic book artists, illustrators, storyboard artists, or graphic novelists, finding opportunities with publishing houses, animation studios, or as freelance artists, with skills transferable across the arts and media industries.
