Indigenous Classroom Assistant Diploma Program

The program is delivered on-campus in two summer sessions at Nipissing University in North Bay. It is designed for working educational professionals and runs during July each year. Students learn Indigenous-focused ways of knowing and learning to support elementary students across subject areas. Practicum experiences connect theory with real classroom applications.

Minimum completion of Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent. Candidates without Grade 12 may apply if 21 years or older and out of school for two years or more.
