Bachelor in Industrial Design

Industrial design centers on developing products that balance functionality, manufacturability, and user experience. Students typically study sketching and visualization, 3D modeling, materials and manufacturing processes, ergonomics, and design history, along with studio courses where they develop and prototype original product concepts. The curriculum emphasizes iterative design thinking, moving from research and concept development through prototyping to final presentation, often incorporating feedback from peers and instructors at each stage. Coursework also introduces students to sustainability considerations and the business side of bringing a product to market. Graduates work as product designers, design consultants, and in roles bridging design and engineering at manufacturing companies, design studios, and consumer goods firms.
