Bachelor in Industrial Design Ba

Tuition fees for BA Industrial Design are 21,795 GBP per year.

At the heart of the Industrial Design BA is the Made in Brunel initiative, a student-led exhibition that serves as a cornerstone of the London design calendar, offering you a direct pipeline to networking with industry leaders before graduation. This programme is intentionally crafted for the 'maker'—the creative thinker who thrives when translating abstract concepts into tangible product prototypes through hands-on workshop training and digital fabrication.

Rather than focusing on heavy theory, you will develop a professional-grade portfolio by tackling real-world design briefs. You will have access to specialized facilities, including digital sketching suites, electronics labs, and extensive prototyping workshops. Our curriculum emphasizes the full lifecycle of a product, from initial user-centered research and sustainable material selection to advanced CAD modeling and functional testing.

Professional Integration

The course is deeply connected to the professional sphere, offering an optional placement year where students have secured roles at global icons such as Dyson, Lego, Chanel, and Disney. Furthermore, for those with entrepreneurial ambitions, our partnership with the Central Research Laboratory provides a dedicated design incubator where you can receive expert mentorship to commercialize your technology or product ideas. The programme is fully accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED), ensuring your education meets the rigorous standards of the modern design industry.
