Bachelor in Industrial Engineering

At Middle East Technical University, tuition fees are 2,400 USD per year.

Industrial Engineering addresses how organizations design, manage, and improve systems that combine people, machines, materials, and information. Typical subjects include operations research, facility planning, quality management, logistics, and simulation modeling, built on a base of mathematics, statistics, and economics. Students develop skills in applying quantitative methods to practical problems, such as scheduling production lines, managing inventory, or designing efficient workflows. Coursework often incorporates case studies and software-based modeling exercises that mirror challenges found in manufacturing and service industries. Graduates typically move into roles in manufacturing, supply chain management, consulting, and process improvement, or pursue further study in fields such as operations research. This bachelor's program is offered by Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, a state university, and instruction is in English over 4 years. The program is designed to equip students with tools for analyzing and improving complex systems across a range of sectors. Ankara's industrial base and academic institutions provide a setting relevant to coursework in production and operations.
