Industrial Engineering focuses on optimizing complex systems and processes, applying operations research, statistics, and management principles to improve efficiency in manufacturing, logistics, and service industries. Coursework typically covers operations research, quality control, supply chain management, ergonomics, simulation, and production planning, blending engineering fundamentals with systems-level analysis. Graduates work in manufacturing and production planning, supply chain and logistics management, quality assurance, and process improvement roles across a wide range of industries, or continue into graduate study in industrial or systems engineering. This bachelor program is taught in English over 4 years at Doğuş University in İstanbul, Turkey. As part of the private university's engineering faculty, the program combines quantitative analysis with practical systems design. İstanbul's status as a major manufacturing and logistics hub offers students exposure to industries where industrial engineering skills are directly applied in production and supply chain contexts.
