The programme includes live two-day workshops in Birmingham each year, which you can attend in person or remotely, complementing the online study that you can follow from your home while remaining in a project-related role. It is a part-time, distance-learning MSc taking three years to complete, originally developed with GlaxoSmithKline and accredited by the UK’s Chartered Association for Project Management.

In the first two years you complete six four-month modules worth 20 credits each, totalling 120 credits, covering fundamentals, leadership, planning and emerging concepts. The final year is devoted to a 60-credit research project that lets you apply what you have learned to a real-world challenge. Throughout, you develop critical assessment skills, strategic implementation abilities and leadership techniques relevant to industrial project delivery.
