Master in Informatics, control engineering and robotics

Informatics, Control Engineering and Robotics is a master's program taught in English at Rzeszow University of Technology, in Rzeszow, Poland, running over three semesters with yearly tuition of 3500 EUR. Delivered by the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the program offers study at the MSc level in Computer Engineering, divided into two specializations: Software Engineering and Tele-Information Systems. Students who choose the Software Engineering specialization gain broad knowledge in modern software systems development, analysis, and programming. Those who choose the Tele-Information Systems specialization gain qualifications in the advanced development, administration, and security of computer networks and information systems. Across both tracks, graduates are trained to work with and lead groups of people and to apply their knowledge to new situations, preparing them either to start their own business activity or to become employees in industry, research and development units, or administrative and management offices. Students are also encouraged to continue their professional education after graduation to keep improving their knowledge. Subjects are organized by type of class, including lectures, theoretical classes, projects, and laboratory sessions, with hours allocated per fifteen-week semester and corresponding ECTS credits, and some subjects require an obligatory examination. To be awarded the professional title of Master of Science in Computer Engineering, students must complete the full study program and prepare and defend an MSc thesis. Informatics, control engineering, and robotics as a combined field trains graduates to design and manage both software systems and the networked or physical systems those programs control, a skill set relevant to telecommunications, network administration, and software engineering roles across industry.
