Bachelor in Informatik und Systems-Engineering

The Bachelor in Informatik und Systems-Engineering starts with a specialism in User Interfaces (UX) in 3rd semester, alongside core modules like Netz und Protokolle, and IT-Sicherheit. This programme is taught at the Institute of Computer and Communication Technology (ICCT), part of the Köln-Deutz campus, and students can choose from over 30 specialisation modules, including Autonome Systeme, Bildverarbeitung, and Data Mining. The programme offers a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification, and students can also gain experience in agile project management and systems engineering. An exchange is available with partner universities in overseas locations like Korea, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Australia, and the USA.
