Berlin, Germany Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

The Master's programme in Information Technology at SRH University covers modern applications of information technology including wireless communications, cellular TV phone technology, satellite technology, robotics, and network technology. Students learn to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information, with an emphasis on implementation, support, and management of computer-based information systems, including software applications and computer hardware. The programme runs for three semesters (18 months) as a full-time course. Teaching takes place in small working groups, combining theoretical instruction with practice-oriented projects. Study is carried out with a high degree of independence, and close contact with professors supports quick resolution of questions. The curriculum is organised in five-week blocks of applied study. The first two semesters cover core technical subjects alongside a study project, and the third semester is dedicated to the Master's thesis. Applications can be submitted at any time until available places are filled, with starts in both the winter and summer semester. The programme is offered at SRH University in Heidelberg.
