Bachelor in International Business

International Business at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is a bachelor's programme taught in English over three years in Wrocław. The curriculum gives students an overview of the different aspects of international markets and cross-border transactions, including their economic, managerial, cultural, political, and social dimensions, and builds a practical understanding of international business processes alongside up-to-date knowledge of international trade and finance, international investment, and multinational enterprises. Through the study of contemporary economic theory, case studies, and interactive learning activities such as simulation games, students build the knowledge and skills needed for critical and creative approaches to international business. The curriculum mixes courses taught by Polish and foreign lecturers and practitioners, each addressing an aspect of international economics and business, giving students what the university describes as a multidisciplinary perspective as business professionals. The programme aims to prepare graduates for a global, diverse career with opportunities across many sectors and industries, and also equips students to conduct independent business activity that includes foreign markets, whether that means internationalising an existing family business or starting a new one. Graduates can go on to apply for a master's degree to continue their studies. The programme carries the EFMD Accredited label, part of what the university describes as the most comprehensive accreditation system for business degrees. Together, the international faculty, simulation-based teaching, and accreditation status position the three-year Wrocław programme as a route into international trade, finance, investment, and management roles for students entering the global business world directly out of undergraduate study.
