The Physics Master's programme at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf is structured around the department's main research topics: soft matter physics, solid state physics and nanophysics, quantum optics and quantum information, plasma physics, and medical physics and biophysics. Each student selects two of these as focus areas, and each focus area includes both an experimental and a theoretical module.
