Bridging the gap between secondary education and the rigours of undergraduate study, this foundation programme acts as a vital transition for international students aiming to progress to a degree at the University of Southampton. It is specifically crafted for those whose existing qualifications may not meet the direct entry requirements for an undergraduate course, providing a bridge that ensures you are academically and linguistically prepared for the challenges of UK higher education.

Whether you are aiming for engineering, science, humanities, or business, the curriculum is designed to align with your future degree path, ensuring that you graduate from the foundation year not just with a certificate, but with the confidence to thrive in your chosen discipline.
