Students who thrive in an interdisciplinary environment will appreciate the opportunity to study Politische Soziologie (Political Sociology) at Sciences Po Strasbourg and Universität des Saarlandes. This five-year programme combines the empirically-analytical approach of the German university with the interdisciplinary focus of the French institution, creating a unique learning experience. Students engage with European and international politics, drawing on subjects including geography, history, law, sociology, and economics.

The programme, available in German and French, enables students to develop expertise in empirical social research and political science, along with intercultural communication skills. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in transnational organizations, public administration, NGOs, and political or scientific institutions. Studying in both Saarbrücken and Strasbourg, they will also build valuable networks across the French-German border.
