Master in Laboratory for Bitumen and Bitumen Emulsions

Graduates of the Laboratory for Bitumen and Bitumen Emulsions can pursue careers in road construction, materials research, and environmental technology. The laboratory is part of the Department of Civil Engineering at the FH Potsdam campus.

The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art test set-ups for analysing bituminous binders, focusing on durability, resource conservation, and climate change adaptation. Students engage in traditional research and complete their final theses using the lab's facilities, which also supports the RUBIN alliance phoTECH project for urban air purification.
