Golf Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Standard

The Level 2 Golf Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Standard is a non-degree program for students who want to learn about golf course maintenance. It's taught in English and takes one year to complete. The main advantage is learning from experienced greenkeepers.

This program covers subjects like turf management, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance. Students develop skills in mowing, pruning, and fertilizing. The apprenticeship includes hands-on training on golf courses.

After completing the program, students can work as Golf Greenkeepers, Grounds Managers, Turf Care Specialists, or Sports Turf Technicians. They can find jobs with golf clubs, sports facilities, or landscaping companies.
