Bachelor in Licence - Philosophie

Philosophy as a field of study examines fundamental questions about knowledge, existence, ethics, language, and reasoning through the close reading of texts spanning antiquity to the present. A bachelor's program in philosophy typically introduces students to the history of philosophical thought, logic, ethics, political and social philosophy, philosophy of science, and metaphysics, while training them to construct and evaluate arguments in both written and oral form. Seminars and lecture courses usually move chronologically or thematically through major thinkers and schools, requiring extensive reading, essay writing, and structured debate.
