Bachelor in Licence Philosophie

Students on the Licence Philosophie are adossée à l’Equipe d’Accueil n° 4395 “Lettres, Idées, Savoirs” (LIS), a research team focusing on philosophy and medicine, philosophy of the environment, and politics.

The programme provides an open, argumentative and critical thought, based on the argumentation, analysis of texts and knowledge of founding philosophies. It also provides the means to develop critical thinking and a basis for a general philosophical culture.

This programme is structured around several key areas of philosophy, including the philosophy of sciences, ethics, and metaphysics. Students will develop both written and oral expression skills, and acquire the main methods of philosophy, such as textual commentary and dissertation.
