Bachelor in Licence Philosophie

With 6 semesters of specialist modules such as D1.1 Philosophie ancienne, D1.2 Philosophie moderne, and D2.2 Histoire de la philosophie 2, the Licence Philosophie at U-Picardie is ideal for students seeking a deep philosophical education. The curriculum also includes courses on the philosophy of science, ethics, and aesthetics, with the option to specialise in education science or social science, and encourages students to gain work experience through optional internships from the first year.

Students can expect a broad education covering many areas of philosophy, and develop solid analytical, writing, and communication skills. Completing the programme prepares students for a wide range of careers, from education and research to social work, communication, and cultural management.

Around half the curriculum is dedicated to philosophy, with the rest made up of social science and education science.
