At Institut national universitaire Champollion in Albi, France, the Licence - Sciences de la vie is a three-year bachelor's degree in life sciences taught in French. The programme covers the fundamental principles of biology and related sciences, starting with cell biology and moving through genetics, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, ecology, and evolutionary biology. Students also study applied dimensions of life sciences, which may include environmental biology, microbiology, or elements of biomedical science, depending on the course offer. The curriculum builds the scientific reasoning and quantitative skills needed for further study or professional work in the life sciences sector. Graduates may pursue master's programmes in biology, biomedical sciences, environmental science, agronomy, or education, or enter the workforce in laboratory, environmental monitoring, or health-related roles. The degree starts in September and runs for 3 years, with annual tuition of 178 EUR. All courses are taught in French.
