Students at Ewha University can earn a teaching certificate through the 교원자격증 program, which allows students to teach at primary and secondary schools. The program enables students to earn the certificate while completing their degree in their major, with specific requirements including coursework and practical training. Students must achieve a minimum average of 80/100 in their courses and complete 22 or more credits in educational theory, practice, and teaching methods, as well as 50 or more credits in their major, including 21 credits in core subjects and 8 in educational methods. Students must pass a suitability and character test and take a first aid and CPR course, among other requirements, to complete the program.
