Logistics Management focuses on the planning, coordination, and control of the flow of goods, information, and resources across supply chains. Typical coursework covers supply chain management, transportation systems, inventory control, warehousing, procurement, and international trade logistics, alongside foundational courses in economics and business administration. Students learn to optimize the movement of goods, manage supplier and distributor relationships, and apply quantitative methods to logistics planning problems. Graduates find roles in supply chain management, transportation and shipping companies, procurement departments, warehousing operations, and international trade, as well as logistics functions within manufacturing and retail firms. This bachelor program is delivered over 4 years at Beykoz University in İstanbul, Turkey, with instruction in English, supporting engagement with international logistics standards and literature. İstanbul's position as a major trade and shipping hub connecting Europe and Asia provides useful context for students studying logistics and supply chain operations. The program combines theoretical coursework with practical problem-solving, addressing topics such as route planning, cost control, and coordination across multiple parties in a supply chain. Students progress from introductory business and economics courses to more specialized study of logistics systems, preparing them for entry-level roles in operations, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
