The Master Program in Logistic Systems at Poznan University of Technology is a specialized graduate program lasting three semesters, or one and a half years, taught in English. It concentrates on advanced logistics management knowledge and skills across several core areas: supply chain management, quantitative and decision-aiding methods for logistics, process and project management, IT and computer systems in logistics, and manufacturing, distribution, and transportation management. The curriculum is designed to align with the certificate guidelines of the European Logistics Association and includes modules connected to the Industry 4.0 concept as applied to logistics. Graduates are positioned to become logistics managers across a range of manufacturing and service companies, as well as within local and governmental administration. Because the program emphasizes quantitative problem solving alongside a systems- and project-oriented curriculum, graduates typically find opportunities in roles that require designing and enhancing logistics systems and solutions, introducing new logistics concepts and technologies, solving complex and unstructured logistics decision problems, developing new logistics services, and integrating supply chains across organizations. The program is run by international experts in logistics with strong educational backgrounds and practical experience, and it takes an action-learning approach intended to build students' practical capabilities alongside their theoretical knowledge. This combination of academic rigor and applied, quantitative training distinguishes the program from more general business or management degrees, positioning graduates specifically for logistics leadership roles that require both technical systems knowledge and strategic decision-making skills within complex, often international, supply chains.
