Logistics at the Silesian University of Technology is a master's program lasting three semesters, delivered in a part-time mode in Zabrze, with tuition of 2340 EUR per year. The program launches with two specializations, Logistics Manager and Logistics Services, and is intended for graduates of engineering faculties who want to move into logistics-focused careers. Students build knowledge across the optimization of logistic systems and decision-making systems, advanced instruments for controlling financial flows and understanding how markets and business entities function, and the technical systems that support logistics processes, with particular emphasis on information technology. The curriculum also covers management concepts including quality management, logistics project management, logistics management broadly, inventory management, business management, and knowledge management, along with the theory of negotiation, communication, and team management. Dedicated courses include Polish Language in Logistics, Theories of the Market and Competition, Optimization Methods and Techniques of Logistic Systems, Logistics Management, Logistics Controlling, Legal Regulations in Logistics, Reverse Logistics, Euro and Global Logistics, the TSL Services Market, Marketing of Logistics Services, Tools and Methods for Improving Logistics Processes, Advanced IT Systems in Logistics, Industry Quality Management Systems and Auditing, Management of New Product Development, and Inventory Management and Storage. Because it targets engineering graduates specifically, the program leans toward the technical and quantitative side of logistics, preparing students for roles as logistics managers, controllers, or specialists in companies that need staff able to combine engineering training with advanced logistics and quality-management knowledge.
