Master in M2 Informatique Haute Performance et Simulation (IHPS)

Taught in French, M2 Informatique Haute Performance et Simulation (IHPS) combines mathematics and computer science to tackle the challenges posed by high-performance computing (HPC) across various domains, including mechanics, finance, and medicine. The curriculum integrates a semester of coursework and a semester of practical training, including a compulsory Stage (internship) in Semester 2. The coursework includes a core component in HPC, followed by specialized modules in Informatique pour le Calcul Haute Performance.

Students are required to exploit effectively architectures haute performance and are exposed to a range of techniques used in High Performance Data Analytics, AI, and embedded systems. Through these modules, students gain expertise in the use and design of HPC technologies at all levels: hardware, software, and systems. The programme is designed for the largest users of HPC, as well as future researchers.

Delivered across three campuses at GIF SUR YVETTE, MONTIGNY LE BRETONNEUX, and PALAISEAU, the programme benefits from the expertise of its teaching staff and the resources of the University Paris-Saclay.
