Creative writing interrogates how stories are shaped for readers across print, screen and emerging digital spaces. This MA explores prose, non-fiction, script, poetry and hybrid forms while examining the influence of AI and other technologies on the craft. The programme situates you within contemporary debates about genre, audience and the commercial realities of publishing.

Each semester you will attend intensive workshops where you produce and revise work, choose optional modules that deepen practice in areas such as creative non-fiction, global fiction or adaptation, and experiment with digital tools in the BLOC suite. Over the summer you complete a dissertation that serves as a professional writing portfolio, preparing you for roles in publishing, media, GLAM or interactive media.
