Bachelor in Management

Management at Gdańsk University of Technology, known within the university as BiM, is a bachelor's program taught in English over six semesters, with tuition of 17200 PLN per year, delivered in Gdańsk. The program is designed to prepare graduates for an unpredictable future, helping them recognize both their own aspirations and broader global societal expectations while building readiness for a wide range of management activities. Students develop advanced-level competencies for analyzing complex problems across various management systems, informed by current research, and learn to develop original solutions to management problems through critical and creative thinking. Teamwork is built into the program, with students prepared to contribute as both team leaders and team members, and coursework emphasizes social commitment and awareness of global issues across different cultures, along with respect for diversity. Students choose between two specializations: International Business Management, which prepares them to work as managers in multicultural environments, and Business Economics and Finance, which focuses on building management skills specifically for the finance and banking sector. Graduates from BiM are prepared to work in national and international companies across diverse industries, consulting companies, project teams, and administration. The program's dual focus, on general management competency alongside a choice between international business and finance-specific tracks, gives graduates flexibility to pursue either broad managerial careers or more specialized roles in finance and banking depending on which specialization they choose.
