PhD in Management

For PhD in Management, tuition is 8,300 EUR.

The Ph.D. program in Management at the University of Social Sciences in Łódź runs for four years and is taught in English. The curriculum offers a comprehensive program that allows students to develop their scientific skills through workshops in the methodology of qualitative and quantitative research, alongside the development of research papers and scientific publications. All students also complete a specialization module, within which they can pursue individual scientific interests in a chosen management-related field, an approach designed to support the development of scientific qualifications suited to each candidate's research direction. As a research-focused doctoral degree, the program builds the skills needed to design studies, collect and analyze data, and communicate findings through academic publication, preparing graduates for careers in academic research, university teaching, or advanced analytical roles in industry and public organizations. A management-focused doctorate of this kind typically culminates in an original dissertation defended before a faculty committee, following several years of coursework, supervised research, and methodological training. The Admissions Office for the program is located in Łódź at ul. Kilińskiego 98, 90-012 Łódź, Poland, reachable by phone at +48 42 664 22 55 or by email at lodz@san.edu.pl, with office hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Based in Łódź, a city in central Poland with a significant academic community, the program offers international candidates an English-medium doctoral track combining methodological training with individualized research development in the field of management.
