In the Pollenzo Food Lab, students explore food through a blend of ecological thinking, social sciences, and scientific approaches, alongside hands-on labs and artistic exploration. This master's programme combines philosophical, scientific, and socio-political inquiries with immersive workshops, equipping students to tackle the cultural, aesthetic, and political dimensions of food. Field trips and immersive classroom experiences bring students into direct contact with key players of the global food system, focusing on innovation, communication, and food system design. Students gain tools to operate creatively and rigorously in sectors like food innovation, communication, and system design, with a curriculum that includes 30 required courses, 3 study trips, and sensory and creative workshops.
