Master Informatique — Informatique et mobilité

For Master Informatique — Informatique et mobilité, tuition costs 250 EUR per year.

Université de Haute-Alsace, located in Mulhouse, France, offers a Master Informatique with a specialization in Informatique et mobilité (computer science and mobile computing). This track focuses on the branch of computer science dealing with mobile devices, applications, and wireless communication. Students typically study mobile application development for various platforms, wireless network technologies, embedded and mobile systems architecture, and the software engineering practices needed to design applications that run reliably on mobile hardware with limited resources. Coursework often includes practical development projects building mobile software and working with mobile-specific programming environments. Graduates trained in mobile computing commonly move into roles such as mobile application developer, software engineer specializing in mobile or embedded systems, IT consultant advising on mobile technology strategy, and positions within companies developing products for smartphones, tablets, and other connected devices. The skills developed also transfer to broader software engineering roles given the general programming and systems knowledge involved. This is a two-year master's program, with studies expected to begin in September. The program is taught in French at Université de Haute-Alsace in Mulhouse, France. Yearly tuition is 250 EUR. Students interested in the technical challenges of building software for mobile and wireless environments, alongside general computer science training, are typically well matched to this specialization within the Master Informatique.
