Master Informatique

Tuition fees for Master Informatique are 250 EUR per year.

Université Savoie Mont Blanc offers a Master Informatique in Le Bourget Du Lac, a two-year computer science program taught in French. As with computer science programs generally, this field covers software development, algorithms, databases, and computer systems, with many programs also including coursework in areas such as networks, artificial intelligence, or software architecture depending on the specialization available. Students typically combine theoretical study of computing principles with hands-on programming projects, working across different programming languages and development environments over the course of the degree. A master's in computer science of this kind prepares graduates for roles such as software engineer, systems developer, database specialist, or technical project manager, and also provides a foundation for doctoral study for those interested in computing research. Given the pervasiveness of software across modern industries, graduates find opportunities not only in dedicated technology companies but also in manufacturing, energy, finance, and public sector organizations that rely on custom software systems. The program starts in September and runs for two years, with instruction delivered entirely in French, so applicants should have strong French language skills together with an undergraduate background in computer science or a related technical field. Yearly tuition is 250 EUR. Based in Le Bourget Du Lac, near the Alps in eastern France, the university offers this program in a setting distinct from the country's larger metropolitan centers. Prospective students should be comfortable with logical reasoning, mathematics, and independent technical work, since computer science coursework tends to be project-heavy.
