Master Management Des Pme-Pmi

For Master Management Des Pme-Pmi, tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

Universite Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, in Lyon, France, offers the Master Management Des Pme-Pmi (Management of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Industries), a program within the broader discipline of business management, applied specifically to smaller organizations. This field studies how small and medium-sized companies are run, financed, and grown, with attention to the particular constraints these firms face compared with large corporations, such as limited resources, closer client relationships, and leaner organizational structures. Typical subjects include entrepreneurship, small-business finance, operations management, marketing for smaller firms, and strategic planning adapted to organizations with fewer resources and more direct decision-making. Students learn to draft business plans, manage cash flow and financing for growing companies, coordinate small teams, and adapt management tools designed for large firms to the realities of an SME. The discipline blends general management theory with practical attention to the day-to-day running of a smaller business. Graduates typically go on to manage or take leadership roles within small and medium-sized enterprises, work as consultants advising such firms, or launch their own businesses using the operational and financial skills developed in the program. Others take up general management or business-development positions within family businesses or industrial SMEs. This is a master's-level program for students building on an undergraduate degree in management or a related field. It runs for two years and is positioned to begin in September, with yearly tuition of 250 EUR. Instruction is given in French throughout the program.
