The Master's in Finance at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management concentrates on financial analytics and advanced financial theory, with attention to financial modelling, data-driven decision-making, and global financial markets. Core modules include Advanced Corporate Finance, Capital Market Theory, International Financial Reporting, Financial Econometrics, and Economics of Financial Markets and its Institutions. Elective courses allow students to focus on areas such as Investment Banking, Valuation and M&A, Financial Technologies, Venture Capital Finance, and Predictive Data Analytics. The programme is available in a three-semester track (90 ECTS) or a four-semester track (120 ECTS), starting in the winter semester each September. The first two semesters take place on the WHU campus in Düsseldorf. After a mandatory summer internship, students in the three-semester track complete a capstone module abroad before writing their thesis. Students in the four-semester track spend a semester abroad at one of WHU's partner universities, then proceed to the thesis.
