About Master's in International Management

The Master's in International Management (MIM) at Hochschule Wismar is an 18-month full-time programme open to graduates in business administration, management, engineering, or architecture. The curriculum is aligned to five global business trends: digitisation, sustainable development, new work, supply chain optimisation, and ethics and compliance. Compulsory modules include Organisational Communication Management, Knowledge Management, Business Simulation and Controlling, Innovation Management, Intercultural Studies, and Interdisciplinary Case Studies, along with Academic Research and Writing. Students choose four elective modules from a range covering international law, global supply chains, business ethics, export marketing, transport management, and international business transactions, among others. The programme runs over three main semesters; applicants whose Bachelor's degree contained fewer than 210 ECTS begin with a pre-semester of additional coursework, making the total four semesters. The third semester is devoted to the Master's thesis. Students may optionally undertake an internship or an exchange semester at a partner university, which extends the programme by approximately six months. The programme starts in both winter and summer semesters and is offered at Hochschule Wismar in Wismar.
