Master's in Management (MSc) – Heilbronn

This Master's programme in Management at TUM Campus Heilbronn is aimed at graduates with a first degree in engineering or the natural sciences who have a strong interest in management. The programme develops skills in management, law, economics, and business, grounded in scientific approaches and research methods. Teaching combines lectures, tutorials, and small-group seminars, and a semester abroad is available as an option. The four-semester curriculum, starting in the winter semester, covers core management modules, a core module in law, and a core module in economics in the first two semesters. Students also gain grounding in entrepreneurship and strategic and international management. In the third semester, students select electives from areas including Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Strategy and Leadership, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Finance and Accounting, and Economics and Policy. Two additional elective areas are offered exclusively at TUM Campus Heilbronn: Management of Family Businesses and Management of Digital Transformation. Project studies and a mobility option are available in the third semester. The fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. The city of Heilbronn and the surrounding region host a large number of family-run businesses and entrepreneurial firms, providing relevant context for the Heilbronn-specific electives.
